Alana Victor is an outgoing, energetic and sporty girl. Most of her digital footprints available to the public are on LinkedIn and Facebook.
Before coming to college, Victor grew up in Pasadena with her parents, Leon and Dayna Victor, and brother Grant. She was a varsity soccer player at Mayfield Senior School. She plays the goalkeeper position with her #1 Jersey. In 2011, she won the CIF-SS Farmers Student Athlete Citizen Award and was presented the honor at the Dodger Stadium.
Victor formed the Project Cambodia club as a sophomore and had volunteered in Cambodia during her spring breaks twice. As the club president, she raised money and awareness for charities and groups that provide support for rural Cambodia.
Victor is currently an international relations and journalism student at USC. She plays a very active role on campus. Last year, she became an advocate and campaign manager for the Menard Rini campaign and today, she is the co-director and external relations officer of the undergraduate student government. Victor is also very involved in the Greek life. She is the Chief Operating Officer of Kappa Alpha Theta and the co-president and social chair of Alpha Lambda Delta.
As a journalism student, Victor has been taking part in on-campus publications such as the Daily Trojan. She started out as a reporter during her freshman year and became a News Assignments Editor in her sophomore year. Last semester, she was promoted to become the Features Editor.
To enrich her real-life work experience, Victor worked as a journalism intern at the International Rescue Committee this summer. On top of this, Victor worked as an intern at Gilbert, Kelly, Crowley & Jennett, a law firm, this summer as well. Prior to these work experiences, Victor worked as a hostess at Central Park Restaurant and a senior counselor at Camp Shi'ini, a Native American Indian-Themed camp last summer.
Victor also has other social media activities including twitter, which she joined in 2012 as @alanavictor5, Vines and Pinterest. During her free time, Victor also shops online at Etsy, some of her favorite items include Harry Potter fan items.
